We are a silent retreat for adults. Children are welcome from the age of 5, we do not host babies or toddlers. The building is not set up for them: stairs and power outlets are not secured. Whether this suits you is for you to decide.

Traveling as a solo traveler or as a single parent with a child is often associated with compromises. Not at Bergsonne in Sonthofen. We have created a place, a silent retreat, where silence does not mean loneliness but enables a form of connection: to yourself and to the people around you. We understand that a break for parents traveling alone with a child is often urgently needed but usually fails at the noise level in classic family hotels. With us it is different. We offer no kids club, but genuine quality time in an environment that connects.

For solo travelers, our house offers the safety of a retreat, combined with the clarity and openness of a modern Smart Retreat. At the community table in the Lounge you quickly find connection. Or you enjoy the absolute silence in your room after a focused work session in the co-working room. Many of our guests mix work and personal life. We do not offer childcare, supervision remains your responsibility. So plan your working hours so that your child is looked after during that time.

The silence that surrounds us acts like a filter for everyday stress. At Bergsonne, you can put down the role of "organizer". Lio takes over the planning for the sauna so you as a parent can briefly disconnect. These small moments of recovery make the difference. We are a place of inclusion, which is why our entire house is designed barrier-free.
